"Better" 2010

What began 4 years ago as a wish and a good idea is taking shape as a potent driving force behind all we do both corporately and personally here at PureFUN!.

"America's Child Care Supply Expert" turned into "Better for Kids".

The question became… "OK, so now what?"

"Better for Kids", "Better for You" and "Better for All" became the charter for our company.  Over the past four years, we have worked to turn this intangible concept into tangible outcomes.  The major challenge has been unlocking the resources (people and money) necessary to make a sustainable impact.  Initiatives of any great size need a lot of funding and focus.  Our hearts far outpaced our wallets and we struggled to keep programs funded.

Things have changed.  PureFUN! has grown.  We've gotten stronger.  We're becoming Better internally in our systems and processes so that we can make extra dollars available to help children.

The future for our "Better" movement will be shaped, defined and measured by:

Active partnerships with organizations that already share our heart for children, especially those in child care settings.  Partnerships include both financial and intellectual contributions.  We will be recognized as an indispensable part of the organizations with whom we partner.

Providing direct help for child care operators in the form of best practices, staff training and development tools, classroom management expertise and operational insights.  Being Better for Kids starts with being Better for You.

Getting involved in helping others around Atlanta and the world, that are on the front lines of changing the lives of children in every day ways from feeding to reading.  This may take the form of food, time
and resource donations for the inner city children in the poor areas of Atlanta, to partnerships with orphan homes in the poorest villages in Ethiopia.

Being "Better for Kids" has always been more than more than a tag line for us.  It's a call to action.

Join us... make a difference.
