What's the big sweat about dehydration?

Dehydration means that your body doesn't have enough water in it to keep it working right.

Signs of dehydration:

  • feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or tired
  • rapid heartbeat
  • drips lips and mouth
How to prevent dehydration:
  • Drink water! It is a good idea to drink water before, during, and after you play... especially if you are playing in the heat.
  • Wear cool clothes
  • Take breaks
